Powder Reactor Fire Extinguishers
- Powder reactor extinguishers are available in fixed and portable modules.
- A single fixed module can protect up to 80m² of surface and 240m³ of volume.
- A single portable module can extinguish a surface of up to 78m² and a volume of up to 100m³.
- It is very effective even in areas where airtightness conditions cannot be met. It offers ideal solutions with its fixed and portable models that provide 360˚ spraying, especially for use in cable galleries, attics and raised floor spaces.
SHELF LIFE IS 12 YEARS

NEW GENERATION TECHNOLOGY IN FIRE SUPPRESSION

What is Powder Reactor?
These are automatic fire extinguishers containing low-cost, long-lasting, specially refined powder. Powder does not stick, can be easily cleaned, and is not harmful to health.
Fire suppression generators are not pressurized containers. They are lightweight and easy to transport, install, and dismantle. They do not require piping and have no operational costs other than service control for many years.
Modules can be activated automatically or manually after fire detection. At the moment of activation, the cold gas generator inside it activates, creating positive pressure within the module and quickly spraying the particulate powder towards the fire through its specially designed nozzle.
How Does It Work?
The spray and extinguishing time do not exceed 2 seconds after detection. It is called an powder type extinguisher due to its rapid response to the fire.
Fire suppression systems intervene in fires in two ways:
- Chemical Intervention:
It intervenes by creating a barrier between the flame-spreading carriers and the flame-creating combustible material.
- Physical Intervention:
(a) The powder particles absorb heat, removing heat through particle evaporation and endothermic processes.
(b) It dilutes the burning area with separation units that come with the powder cloud.
(c) It creates barriers between combustible and oxidizing materials.
(d) It covers the burning surface, cutting off contact with oxygen.
Powder quickly extinguishes the fire. The entire intervention is completed within 4-6 seconds from the detection of the fire, including detection and extinguishing.
Technicial Specifications
It successfully extinguishes A, B, C, and E class fires. Extinguishing tests have been conducted and certified in MPA Dresden/Germany test laboratories.
Unaffected by wind, it can be easily used in facilities and storage areas in open spaces and in all of the following areas. It can be mounted up to 16m high.
- MV-HV Transformer and Switchgear facilities,
- Open or closed transformer and compensation facilities,
- High storage areas, from the top to the bottom rack and between the racks,
- All industrial areas,
- Residences,
- Open or closed garages,
- Cable galleries, cable channels,
- Raised floor and ceiling spaces.
